1. Who we are
Eventovalley is provided by Eventovalley. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit our website, use the Service as an organiser, or register for an event run on the Service. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: organisation name, contact name, email, phone and password (stored encrypted).
- Billing information: plan, payment status, invoices and billing details. Card and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never stored by us.
- Usage information: events you create, settings and basic technical data such as IP address and browser, used for security and support.
- Enquiries: details you send through our contact form.
3. Guest data we process for organisers
When an organiser adds guests or a guest registers for an event, we store the guest's name, email, phone and any extra details the organiser asks for, plus check-in and message history. For this data the organiser decides why and how it is used; we process it on their behalf to send passes and messages, check guests in and produce reports. Guests should contact the event organiser about their data, and we will help the organiser respond.
4. How we use information
- to provide, maintain and secure the Service;
- to process payments, issue invoices and manage subscriptions;
- to send service messages such as receipts, security notices and important changes;
- to answer enquiries and provide support;
- to understand and improve the Service using aggregated information.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use guest data for our own marketing.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords and API keys, and access controls to protect data. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep it private.
8. How long we keep data
We keep account and event data while your account is active. Organisers can delete events and guests at any time. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires. When an account is closed we delete or anonymise its data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it by law.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise your rights. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within the time required by law.
10. Children
The Service is meant for organisations and is not directed at children. Organisers must get verifiable parental consent before adding data about children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version, and we will tell organisers about significant changes.
12. Contact and grievances
